Where and when is the UK Space Conference 2025?

UK Space Conference 2025 will be held on 16-17 July 2025 at Manchester Central.

How do I get to the venue?

The address for Manchester Central is Windmill Street, Manchester, M2 3GX. Visit our Plan your Visit page to find out more details around travel.

I am concerned about hotel availability due to the Oasis concert in Manchester on 16 July, what should I do?

The accommodation portal is now live. The exclusive UK Space Conference hotel booking portal offers conference delegates reduced rates for rooms on 16 & 17 July. Prices start from £165 per night, based on a minimum 2-night stay, and you will be able to access this once you have registered.

WHY ATTEND

What will I take away from the conference?

Insights, solutions, and connections. You’ll hear from leading voices across the sector, discover emerging trends, connect with potential collaborators, and leave with a clearer picture of where the industry is heading - and what the opportunities are.

Is this just a showcase event or is it more interactive?

UK Space Conference is built around conversation and connection. You’ll have opportunities to contribute to panel debates, attend workshops, ask questions, and play your part in the future direction of the UK space sector.

Can I connect with others before the event?

Yes! Through the attendee portal, you can connect with other delegates both in advance and during the conference. Whether you're looking for collaborators, mentors, clients or partnerships, you can browse profiles, reach out directly, and make meaningful connections before you arrive in Manchester.

I don’t work directly in the space sector. Is this still relevant for me?

Absolutely. The UK space sector increasingly powers innovation in industries like energy, agriculture, healthcare, finance and logistics. Whether you're in business, academia, or government, you’ll discover how space can support your work - and unlock new opportunities.

I’m an investor - what’s in it for me?

The space sector is one of the fastest-growing areas of the UK economy. The conference offers a front-row seat to emerging technologies, scale-up potential, and innovators seeking investment. It’s your chance to spot opportunities early and meet the teams behind them.

We’re a startup - why should we come?

Whether you’re space-adjacent or space-curious, this is where big ideas meet practical support. Connect with funders, customers, policymakers, and other startups. Learn how to navigate the ecosystem, raise your profile, and find your place in the space value chain.

I’m early in my career - will I benefit from attending?

Definitely. This is a unique chance to learn from sector leaders, explore career pathways, and build your professional network. Whether you're in STEM, policy, comms or commercial roles, the UK Space Conference offers valuable exposure and ideas.

We’re a local business - how is this relevant to us?

You might be closer to space than you think. From manufacturing and materials to AI, marketing and consultancy, the space sector needs your skills. The conference is a great place to explore new markets, partnerships, and funding opportunities.

I work in government - how does this event support my priorities?

From innovation and net zero to economic growth and national security, space has a role to play in delivering government goals. The conference connects you with industry, researchers, and regional leaders to support evidence-based decision-making and collaboration.

My organisation isn’t technical - should we still attend?

Definitely. Space needs your skills and UK Space Conference is designed to make the sector accessible. Many sessions are non-technical and focused on business, policy, sustainability, education and strategy. Whether you’re in comms, HR, legal, or leadership - there’s opportunity here for you.
