Name
Government strategy and the Space sector; effective collaboration
Description
The National Space Strategy aims to lead pioneering scientific discovery and inspire the nation to create the next generations of space scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs. But is academia an ivory tower disconnected from this strategy? Is academia being correctly supported to help it deliver against the strategy? What’s the role for industry in discovery and inspiration? How do we better incorporate long-term, visionary and potentially disruptive, concepts into short-term needs and objectives?
