Can space science be agile? Challenging the status quo
Description
Space science is often the showcase and inspiration for space. But is space science evolving too slowly? Small satellites and rapid launch have revolutionised Earth observation. This session explores whether government could be doing more to challenge the norms of very exclusive decades-long space programmes. What’s the future? What’s the role for private enterprise and new space? How do we enable new academic entrants?
