To address the knowledge and skills gaps the space sector faces, a partnership of space sector organisations has signed up to the STEM Futures Programme. Through the Programme, organisations across government, academia, and industry are collectively creating opportunities for their talented workforce through shadowing, mentoring, placements, and secondments. Led by the UK Space Agency as the Lead Organisation, those that have signed up are already providing their employees with ways to develop new skills, broaden their specialist knowledge, and foster effective cross-sector relationships, all of which brings tangible benefits to their organisations.
