Yun-Hang Cho (Yun) is an Engineer at the University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre. He combines cutting-edge technologies in supercomputing, communications, advanced sensors and robotics to enable high-value manufacturing capability for the UK. Yun was the 2014 winner of the IMechE ‘Inspiring the Next Generation Young Member’s award. In 2017, he co-founded the Sheffield Space Initiative which has since created opportunities for hundreds of aspiring Engineers/Scientists to work on real hands-on projects with NASA, ESA, DLR and beyond. For the IET, he serves on the Satellite Technical Committee and as the chair of the Young Professionals Aerospace Technical Network.
