Tim is the Head of Portfolio for AIDE (Artificial Intelligence and Data Economy) at Innovate UK, a part of UKRI, where he has been for almost 15 years. Tim was previously the Head of Space and continues to cover this role within Innovate UK.
Prior to joining the UK government Tim worked for Thales UK where he had worked for more than ten years. He was a board member of the original Space Innovation and Growth Strategy Team and a board member of UK Space prior to joining government. He has been the UK delegate to ESA for both ARTES and Navigation.
Tim is married and has two children and lives in the South West of England. In his spare time he is a Scout Leader and Archery instructor.
