Dr Emma Egging OBE founded the Jon Egging Trust (JET) in 2012 to support disadvantaged young people to develop the skills and mind-set for success. JET’s Blue Skies programmes supports students for 3 years, building teamwork, leadership and employability skills, and providing privileged access to extraordinary STEM workplaces and the inspirational role models within them. Since 2021 JET has engaged with the UK space industry to drive a sector-wide approach to levelling up, creating a bridge between the industry and disadvantaged young people. JET is delighted to be a UKSA partner, helping to deliver their Space to Learn initiative.
