Dr Alice Bunn is Chief Executive of the Institution for Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and President of UKSpace trade association. She sits on the World Economic Forum Council on the future of space and acts as advisor to Orbitfab. She chairs the Professional Engineering Committee and sits on the Board of EngineeringUK. She is a Fellow of both the IMechE and the Royal Aeronautical Society, Chair of the trustee board at SwimTayka and is Patron of General Steam Navigation Restoration Project. Alice was awarded an OBE in the 2022 Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to UK space sector and to charity.
