Jaime leads the Space Data Platforms and Applications team covering commercial satellite communications, remote sensing, and geospatial applications. He works with a diverse range of clients from global satellite operators, European institutions, and UK government. Jaime and his team work across a number of industry verticals including transport, smart cities, aerospace, and agriculture. Jaime works alongside CGI’s other metro-market teams to bring the best of CGI to a global customer base. With a background in environmental monitoring, Jaime is the SDI Champion for carbon reduction. Jaime has held a number of roles in industry bodies, working with partners across the UK space industry and government to advance Space within the UK. Most recently Jaime was the lead for Trade & Exports in partnership with the UK Department of International Trade. Jaime has spent 20 years in the space industry as a systems engineer and project manager working on some of the most complex ground, satellite and software systems for clients, including the European Space Agency and NASA. Jaime has a Doctorate in Atmospheric, Oceanic and Planetary Physics and is a Chartered Engineer.
