Martin joined Orbex, the orbital launch services company based in Scotland, as CEO in May 2023, however, he has been involved with Orbex from the very start and served on the Board of the company in its start-up phase between 2015 and 2018. He has over 30 years’ experience leading various companies as a CEO or Chairman and has been notable for his ability to devise and execute strategic plans while building world-class teams. During his career he has worked with a number of software, technology and telecommunications businesses including: Agrantec Limited, Swissqual, Andrew Corporation and Xenicom. He is also a long-time Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and is passionate about promoting engineering in the UK. Martin is also a Chartered Engineer and Chartered Director.
