What is SKYNET 6? How will it ‘Secure our space’ to provide the most world-leading satellite communications to enable Defence always to be connected globally through exploiting innovative technologies of the UK Space Industry.

The SKYNET Programme Director will provide a short, high-level overview of the SKYNET 6 Programme including the programme vision, objectives and how it will contribute to Defence capability. With a focus on the “technological capital” aspect of the programme, the talk will highlight the opportunities the SKYNET 6 Enduring Capability (SKEC) Wideband Satellite System (WSS) procurement could provide for smaller technology companies to support primary contractors.
