Hannah has worked in space policy for 4 years and is currently Head of Earth observation and Spaceflight.
Achievements include:
• Delivering a £10m government investment to an early stage spaceport – to support the UK to achieve the first vertical orbital launch in Europe.
• Delivering a £20m government investment in a nascent UK launch operator - to support the UK ambition to have end-to-end launch capability.
• Successfully negotiating improved terms for UK participation in the EU Copernicus programme (2024-2027).
• Designing/delivering a £250m package to support the Earth observation sector through the delay to Copernicus participation.
