Andy currently leads the space systems team at the CAA, responsible for conducting safety assessments and providing technical expertise for UK space licensing and regulatory activities. Before joining the regulator, Andy spent more than two decades working in the space industry as a propulsion engineer in a variety of technical and management roles, developing propulsion solutions for a multitude of space missions. Andy is widely recognised as an expert within the space propulsion community and has served as chairman of the UK Space Propulsion Working Group and as an active member of the AIAA Liquid Propulsion Technical Committee.
