Kainat Hussain is the Programme Manager for Earth Observation (EO) Missions at the UK Space Agency. Since joining the Agency in 2023 Kainat has worked closely on two key EO Missions, TRUTHS and MicroCarb. As part of the EO team Kainat has also worked on the Atlantic Constellation Pathfinder and the Earth Observation Investment Package.

Kainat joined the Civil Service since 2017, prior to joining the Agency she worked at the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government delivering on large scale housing infrastructure programmes which developed her skills in governance, planning and financial management.
