A former news journalist, Sally has been working in science communication for 10 years, based at Reading University, translating complex climate science into language we can all understand, to promote and inform climate action. Sally is proud to work with the UK Earth Observation and climate scientists through Space4Climate, communicating with and on behalf of academia, industry and policy. As part of the EU Horizon-funded MAGICA Climate project, Sally also works to accelerate climate research into European policy initiatives, regional authorities and communities. An aspect of both roles Sally particularly enjoys is supporting climate scientists to communicate their own work.
