Rafel Jorda Siquier is the founder and CEO of Open Cosmos, a company making space accessible to solve global challenges. An aerospace engineer with a Master’s in space technologies from UPC, he previously worked at Europe’s largest aerospace firm and several space-tech start-ups. Since founding Open Cosmos in 2015, he has raised nearly $60 million, secured over €100 million in contracts, and built a team across the UK, Spain, Portugal, and Greece. The company has a 100% satellite launch success rate. Rafel also leads OpenConstellation, a growing global satellite network enabling international collaboration in Earth observation and space-based services.
