Our role is to nurture the thriving UK space ecosystem.

We catalyse investment into the space sector to advance space-based technology and maximise UK space sector growth. We deliver missions and capabilities, both independently and with partners, that benefit society and advance our understanding of the Universe. And we’re championing the power of space to inspire the next generation; offer greener and smarter solutions and support a sustainable future.

With our support clusters in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are levelling up the space economy. We’re investing in bold new technologies and supporting satellite launches from the UK. We’re growing the UK’s Earth Observation capabilities and maximising the potential of the UK's capabilities in Low Earth Orbit.

We’re working with partners across the world to share expertise and further our knowledge. We will take a leading role in keeping space safe and accessible now and in the future. We’re supporting space science and exploration.

Representatives from across the Agency attend the UK Space Conference, from scientists to engineers, commercial experts, project managers and policy officials. Come speak to us about how we're making the UK one of the world’s most innovative and attractive space economies.

UK Space Agency is an executive UK Government agency, sponsored by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
